Marjorie "Ann" Catron

 Marjorie "Ann" Catron, 78, passed away Saturday, October 17th, 2020 in Kansas City, Missouri

 

Ann was born March 2nd, 1942 to Evelynn Arr and Richard Leake in Kansas City, MO.  She spent her early childhood enjoying country life in Brookfield, Missouri in the company of her older sister and extended family.  Ann was a young mother to two beautiful daughters, LeAnna and Karen. Ann was known as fun loving, generous and kind.  Her giving spirit didn't damper her personality, she was tough and always told it as she saw it. 

 

Ann was also known as Annie by her coworkers at Cummins Diesel where she worked for over 30 years before retiring in 2003.  Annie was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved sister, Susie Johnston and several aunts and uncles.  She is survived by her daughters, LeAnna McIntosh and Karen Teeter and her husband Eric.  She was a cherished "Grannie Annie" to her grandchildren, Angie, Michael, Justin, Erica and James.  Great-Grandmother to Blake, Hannah, Mackenzie, Justin Jr., Ethan, Brayden, Madison and Monona and Margaret Rose.  Ann also has many treasured nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and  great-nephews.  She deeply loved her family.  

 

She will be forever treasured.

 

Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm, followed by a memorial service at 6:00 pm, Thursday, October 22, 2020 at Northland Cathedral, 101 NW 99th St., Kansas City, Missouri. Masks will be required. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ann's memory to Kansas City Hospice and Palliative Care are appreciated.   https://www.kchospice.org/donation/

She truly was a special soul. She touched many people in her life and we will all miss her. I pray for peace in the hearts of her family as they continue on with out her. I believe she would want us to tell stories of the past and smile about happy times we have been blessed to have.
