It is with immeasurable sadness and grief that we share that Jonah Wyatt Lynch, 17 of Leawood, KS passed on Wednesday, November 4th, 2020.
He is survived by his mother and father, Valerie Lorraine (Evans) and Thomas Ward Lynch; his two brothers, Daniel Choice and Nick Loyal; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
A Celebration of Life Service has been planned for Saturday, November 14th, 11:30 a.m. at the Gazebo/Shelters C & D, Leawood City Park, 10601 Lee Blvd, Leawood, KS 66206.
An outdoor location was chosen to allow social distancing and safety protocols during the pandemic. Please dress warmly and bring a comfortable lawn chair for seating.
Jonah was kind, gracious, humorous and a friend to all. He loved the outdoors, playing games, chess, anime, snowboarding and learning about new technologies. He was especially interested in environmentally sustainable technologies and industries and began investing in environmentally conscious companies and organizations. His positivity and jovial attitude were contagious. He made friends easily and never spoke negatively of anyone or anything.
Given Jonah’s great interest and concern for environmental issues and conservation, please consider planting a tree in his memory. The Lynch Family tradition has been to plant maples, black walnut and fruit trees.
In place of flowers, you may donate to his final resting expenses, or earmark your contribution as “trees” and the family will plant and steward trees in loving remembrance of Jonah.
The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to friends and family, as well as teachers and administrators. The outpouring of support at this time of our deep loss is appreciated beyond the expression of words.
Remembrances for the family may be posted on https://www.kccremation.com .
