What a wonderful woman lost too soon. My thoughts & prayers are with the family in their time of heartache during this holiday season. Remember... Grief is like an ocean. It comes on waves, ebbing & flowing. Sometimes the water is calm, sometimes itโ€™s overwhelming. All we can do is learn to swim. ๐Ÿ’ž

To the entire family, my prayers and condolences are with each of you in the passing of Paula. Even though itโ€™s been a while since I last saw Paula, the fond memories that I have will always be. Growing up together, sleep overs (on Waverly), VBS at Zion Travelers, family get-to-gathers and our school days, just to name a few. These memories will last a lifetime. The smile that Paula had is one to remember. To her children and the entire Cooper and Swan families, I pray that the Lord will comfort you during this time. Much love to each of you. Carolyn

To the family of our dear and beloved classmate Paula Cooper Hampton. Reflection of our classmate as we know her. Paula was a shining light in our school. Her smile would light up any room and her heart shined even brighter. Paula loved people and she believed in Justice for All. She was an advocate for people who could not speak up for themselves. She was confident and very determined to achieve her goals in life. She believed that everything had a perfect balance and she wanted to create that for her life. Paula was involved in many activities in high school. One we all remember is Westlerette. Paula was a cheerleader for our Champion Wrestling Team. She was the best. Although Paula has taken her flight to Heaven she will always be remembered for the genuine love she shared with us all. Family we lift you up in continual prayer and with sympathy we express our condolence. We thank you for sharing her with us for a season. The following verses of I Corinthians 13th Chapter reminds us of Paulaโ€™s humanitarian spirit and love for all people. Love is patient. Love is kind. Love is humble all of the time. Love is not easily angered, Love does not seek its own. Love is not jealous or envious. Love bares all things, believes all things. Love endures all things. Love is a more excellent way. Paula endured the test of time with love. ๐Ÿ’— Love you Paula. Humbly Submitted, Paul Jones, President and the classmates of Wyandotte High School Class of 1978.
