William "Bill" Garth Morris, age 87, died on February 2, 2021 in Kansas City, Missouri. Bill was born May 26, 1933, in Denver, Colorado, to Henry and Josephine (Dunlap) Morris. He graduated from Grain Valley High School. He enlisted and served in the U.S. Navy for 4 years. Bill Morris joined the Kansas City Missouri Police force on February 1, 1961 and retired at the rank of Sergeant on September 15, 1988. In retirement Bill and his wife Sandra (Hodson) Morris enjoyed traveling and showing their antique cars. Bill Morris is lovingly remembered by his wife of 50 years, Sandra Morris, his children Mary (Brad) True, William (Cathy) Morris; his stepchildren David Farris, Carla Farris and Dennis (ViVi) Farris; his four grandchildren Kelly (Jon) Hill, Debra (Aaron) Cline, Jared (Rachel) Morris, Brandon True; and his six great grandchildren Sophie Littleton, Parker Morris, Chase and Brayden Cline, Aden and Lexi Hill.
