William “Keith” Duncan

William “Keith” Duncan passed away at the age of 80 at his home in Kansas City, Missouri on March 25, 2021.


Services will be at a future date to be determined by the family.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.


Born in Poplar Bluff, MO he grew up in Kennett, MO.  After graduation from the University of Missouri he spent his life in Sikeston, MO where he and his wife of more than 60 years raised their two children before moving to Kansas City four years ago.


Keith enjoyed a long career in agricultural finance and appraisal. He was appointed by the Governor to the Missouri Real Estate Appraisal Commission.


He was a member of the United Methodist Church, a longtime volunteer at the Jaycee Bootheel Rodeo and was a very active member of the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts.


He was an avid hunter and fisherman and an accomplished musician and entertainer. Many memories were made with friends and family far and wide.


He was preceded in death by his parents, Norvel and Luella Duncan.


Survivors include his wife Sherry, one sister Marcie (Joel) Laner of Kansas City.  One son Bart (Sherrie) Duncan of Norwalk, Iowa and a daughter, Kerry (Michael) Amigoni of Kansas City, 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
