Nate befriended me when we were working at Dex Media together and even though he was 14 years older than me, we bonded quickly over our taste in music and love for National Public Radio (NPR) - it is all either of us ever had on in our car! We were always catching up on 'Wait Wait' episodes over weekends, when he would tell me about the new crepes recipe he and his wife tried at the local place down the street. He had a personal goal of making me a Butch Walker fan and succeeded. I met his wonderful wife, Jessica, and we instantly bonded over our love for Wilco. . eventually we all went to see Ruth Bader Ginsburg (RBG) together - Nate was always an advocate for peace and equality. We both moved from Dex Media to Spring Venture Group by chance and so it just felt like we were meant to be friends. . I think he was the kind of person who made everyone he met feel that way too. Nate was a great friend to me and was always there for me even if I wasn't there for him all the time. I send my deepest condolences and will always wish I spent more time with him. He will be missed greatly by many friends and coworkers.

Nate was one of the most laid back easy going person I have ever met. We sat every day across the aisle from each other at Spring Venture for over 2 years. He had his nieces pictures on the computer or sometimes the cat. We ate many a breakfast at our desks as we started our morning at 7:00 am. He loved his wife dearly and would often talk about her. He was a gentle soul and he will be missed. My prayers are with his family and I am positive he is playing music in Heaven.

Nate and I worked together at Freight Quote and Dex Media for over 10 years. We lived close by each other and would often car pool to work. He was such a great guy, and I really enjoyed our friendship over the years. I probably met you all at Nate's 40th birthday party at Martini Corner. I'm so very, very saddened to learn about the loss of my friend, as many, many people that knew Nate and worked with him have said the same. My thoughts and prayers to his family.

My husband and I played sand volleyball with Nate many, many years ago. Sometimes if I was slacking a bit, Nate would just give me a look that said, "c'mon!" and I'd try a little harder. We were kind of a band of misfits but sure had fun playing together. I can still hear echos of his great laugh. Our hearts are aching for Jessica, Nate's family and his many, many friends. Results of a life well-lived, full of song and deep connections, are the broken hearts of those left behind. RIP Nate.
