Herschel Anderson, 78, of Kansas City, MO, passed away on May 11, 2021. His three daughters were by his side.
Herschel was born in Pittsburg, KS, on December 29, 1942. He was an Army veteran who served in Germany, between the Korean and Vietnam wars, where he learned his trade of electrical engineering.
He worked as a designer for Schroer Manufacturing for over 40 years developing veterinarian products. He enjoyed watching the Chiefs, especially when they won the Super Bowl. He was also an avid reader and never missed the latest movie at the theater.
Herschel is survived by his three daughters, Kelly McDonald (and husband Jeff), Judy Ware (and husband Steve), and Tracy Anderson; and his grandchildren, Colin McDonald and Owen McDonald.
Herschel is preceded in death by his mother Mary Helen Anderson, his sister Rama Harper, and his brother Ira Blackburn.
There will be a private memorial service with close friends and family.
