Daniel “Doc” Alden Plummer, 79, of Prairie Village, Kansas, was born in Buffalo, New York to Albert and Violet Plummer. He graduated from Shawnee Mission East High School in 1959. He earned the rank of Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America. Upon graduation he enlisted in the U.S. Navy serving for 2 years. Following his military service, Dan worked as a surgical nurse at Research Medical Center. He is survived by his loving wife Natalie, stepson Louis “Tony” Sola, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren his nieces Rebecca and Jill Holcomb; and nephew Michael Holcomb and their families. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Alberta Holcomb.
