Freddie “Fred” P. Feo passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family, on May 23, 2021. Fred was born on August 12, 1944 in Kansas City to Betty E. Harris. As a young man, Fred proudly served in the U.S. Navy from 1961 to 1967. He served two tours in Vietnam on the USS Black. Following his enlistment in the Navy, Fred worked most of his life as an over-the-road truck driver and farmer. Fred enjoyed being with his family, pets, and his wife and best friend of nearly 43 years, Linda S. Feo. Freddie glowed with enthusiasm and adoration whenever he spent time with his grandchildren. Fred loved his wife, his two daughters, his seven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and many more family members and friends.

He is loving remembered and survived by his two daughters, Stephanie Valente and Sydney Roberts; his son-in-law, Rodney Roberts; his grandchildren, Amanda Feo, Derek Cole (Laura), Ashley West, Shaunacie Bussinger (Michael), Chaselyn McCauley (Chris), Brad Roberts (Megan), and Xyler Stone (Melissa); his eleven great grandchildren; his brother, William F. Hammond, Jr.; and Sister, Mary Edmondson. He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda S. Feo; his mother, Betty E. Harris; his step-father William F. Hammond; and his brothers, John Feo and Anthony Feo.

A private service will be held at the family’s request.

The family would like to thank the nurses and aides at Good Shepard Hospice for their special dedication and care of Fred.
