Frances Louise Lowden, 80, of Olathe, KS, died Friday, June 4, 2021 at the Olathe Hospice House. Frances was born October 11, 1940 in Oklahoma City, OK. She is survived by her husband, Ernest Garfield Lowden, her brother, William George and his wife Sharon, of City Island, NY, and her sister, Caroline Hill, of Durant, OK. 

Frances dedicated her academic and working life to education. After receiving her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Oklahoma State University, she became a teacher. Following this, she returned to OSU to obtain her Master’s to become a school counselor, and then her Educational Doctorate. She spent the rest of her career as a school psychologist in districts around Kansas and Oklahoma. She was a lifelong member of Zeta Tau Alpha.
