Carolyn Sue Gray, 77, of Olathe, KS, passed away peacefully Sunday, July 18th, 2021. Carolyn was born March 02, 1944 in Decatur, Illinois to Ralph and Olga (Krause) Gray. She moved to Iowa graduating Ames High School, class of 1962. She then married and resided in Des Moines until retiring to Olathe, KS to be near family.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents and siblings Ralph Jr. and Patsy. She is survived by her two daughters, Angela (Ryan) Anderson, Jennifer Girres, and her three grandchildren.
Private graveside services will be held at a later date.

My sincere condolences to Sue’s family and friends. She was a strong and independent woman with a love for cats. Her sensibility along with her sense of humor made her a friend that withstood time and distance. She always had an old story that could shed light on a new situation. I will miss her terribly. May she rest in peace.
