Trenton "Trent" Joseph Boone, Age: 20
Jul 23, 2001 - Sep 20, 2021

After a short one-year battle with an aggressive brain cancer, Trenton (Trent) Joseph Boone, born July 23, 2001, peacefully passed away Monday, September 20, 2021, with his mom, dad, sister, and puppies at his side. Trent was a junior at Florida Tech, majoring in Mathematics, member of Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity, and a member of the Squamish Club. When Trenton was not studying, he enjoyed spending time with family and friends, watching movies and his favorite anime series, writing, reading, bowling and working out. However, most of his time was spent gaming on-line with all his friends that were both near and far away. Thankfully, Trenton was able to fulfill some of his final wishes a few weeks ago. He made a trip back to Florida to visit all the places he loved. He hit the beach with his fraternity brothers, rested in a hammock in the Joy & Gordon Patterson Botanical Garden, relaxed at the High Pagoda for a bit, and ate at all his favorite local spots in Melbourne. He was able to spend quality time with his friends whom he considered his extended family. He enjoyed every moment.

Trent requested these words of encouragement from family and friends: “You are not alone; you are so loved; trust the process; courageous; inspiring; proud of you always.”

Trenton is survived by his parents Troy (TJ) and Meribeth, his sister Eva, his puppies Red and Annie, his grandparents Sam and Shirley Boone, his grandparents Mike and Margaret Pfeiffer, his grandparents Jim and Sharon Pitman, his Uncle Chris Pittman (wife Dulcey) and Chris’s four daughters, and many extended family members including his friends, fraternity brothers, and Squamish brothers.

Out of Trent’s true love for math and science, he has donated the tumor that was in his brain to a research group in Michigan. This was done in hopes that no other child, young adult, nor adult must suffer from brain cancer.

In lieu of flowers, gifts etc. to honor Trenton, memorial contributions may be made to Joy & Gordon Patterson Botanical Garden on Florida Tech’s campus. This allows other students a place of peace and tranquility. Trenton’s memory can live forever in these beautiful gardens. The amount of love in the Boone household is nothing short of amazing & inspiring. Although I only worked with Trent a few times it was very apparent that he was surrounded by & blessed by the most loving parents, family and friends. Trent had a kind soul and never complained. He has left a legacy and impression with so many. Prayers for peace and comfort. God Bless your family.

Meribeth, TJ and Eva, There are no words that I can use to make the pain go away, When the candles all dim, and everyone but your family goes back to their everyday routine, know there is an ear close by. You will now have a different “Everyday”, one that’s unknown, but you will survive it. You have been in my heart this entire journey. Not a day has gone by when I haven’t thought about your family. There are many “firsts” ahead of you, and things that will happen, when you don’t expect it, and forever change you. Things will pop up and shock you, and you will feel like your breath has been taken from your chest. It’s a feeling that nobody can explain, except those that have walked your path, and it’s still not the same. Always know that there is someone who cares a great deal about your family, and is willing to take the time to walk beside you… Love you, Terri
