May 16, 1939 - September 21, 2021

Mary Arnella “Nellie” Stefan, Kansas City, Ks., passed away September 21, 2021.  She is survived by her loving, devoted husband of over 15 years, Lloyd, her daughter, Julie Sargent and son Timothy Hill. Step-children Billy Hill and John Teubner, Greg (Denise) Stefan and Susan (Greg) Reynolds, and brother George Watts of Fishers, Indiana. Grandchildren, Zakkhary and Jonah Sargent, Austin, Jaden, and Gabriella Hill.  Step-grandchildren Lucas (Angela) Reynolds, Jordan Reynolds, and step-great grandchildren and Madison and Bryce Reynolds.

Mary “Nellie” was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in 1968 and currently was a member of the Basehor, Ks. Congregation.  She served as a Regular Pioneer for 10 years.  She loved teaching others the truths found in the Bible and looked forward to the time when she would welcome back many dead loved ones in the resurrection to a paradise earth.

Nellie worked for many years at Peter’s Drive-In in Kansas City, Ks as a carhop.  She was known for her bright smile and friendly wink, After Peter’s Drive In closed, she worked at Mrs. Peter’s Chicken Dinner Restaurant and also at The Golden Ox.  She enjoyed serving others and being hospitable to all.
