William "Bill" C. King, II, Age: 64
Nov 07, 1957 - Nov 11, 2021

William “Bill” C. King II passed away unexpectedly at his home on November 11, 2021 in Independence, MO. He was 64.

Bill was born on November 7, 1957 in Independence, MO to his parents, William I and Beatrice King. He graduated from William Chrisman High School in 1976. He married Julie Rodriguez in November 1989. Bill worked various jobs through his lifetime including 12 years at the Kansas City Metro and 8 years at Mid-Continent Paper Company.

Bill’s passions included being outdoors:  either fishing or spending time on the water.  He enjoyed reading books and magazines.  Harry Potter and Missouri Conservation topped his list of must reads.  He loved watching the Kansas City Chiefs and listening to Rock ‘N’ Roll music.  He was charismatic and always tried to make you laugh.  Steve Miller Band would describe him best, “I play my music in the sun, I’m a joker, I’m a smoker, I’m a midnight toker, I sure don’t want to hurt no one.”  He will be missed for his proficient househusband skills of laundry and dishwashing.  Bill’s dog, Buddy, and cats, Scooter and Little Bill, will be lost without him.

Bill is survived by his wife, Julie, children Ethan and Jessie, all of Independence, MO; brother Jan (Judy) Wysong of Modesto, CA; and numerous other relatives and friends.  He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Bea and his brother, Kevin King.
