Nora Glenda Crego-Thieman, Age: 58

 Nora Glenda Crego-Thieman, 58, of Kansas City, MO, passed away Sat., Nov. 13, 2021. She was born Nov. 10, 1963 in Jackson, Michigan to Alan and Norma (Pierce) Crego As a child, the family traveled the globe and she enjoyed many different cultures.  After returning stateside she attended school in: Fenton, Michigan, Marlton, New Jersey, Quincy, Illinois and graduated from High School in San Jose, California. she attended community college in Quincy, Illinois prior to relocating to Kansas City, where she had most recently worked as a legal secretary at  Shaffer, Lombardo and Shurin Law Firm.  Nora had a 30 year love affair with her husband, John Thieman who she married on May 30, 1992 at her parents home in Liberty, MO.  She was very artistic and sold handmade masks on Etsy for many years.  She became an avid estate sale shopper and opened a very successful shop, Return to Me Treasures, which featured  antiques, particularly antique glass.  Nora had a brilliant mind, a keen memory sparkling blue eyes and a great sense of humor.  She is survived by her husband, John, sons; John Joshua Thieman and Aron Jacob Thieman, step daughters, April Pillar and Angela Gott, siblings; Deborah Crego, Bosworth, MO, Cathryn Crego, New Jersey and a brother, Alan Crego, Nevada.  She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Patrick. 

 Visitation and memorial service 6:00 p.m. Wed. Nov. 17, 2021 at the Porter Funeral Home, 1835 Minnesota Ave. Kansas City, KS 66102.

I am so very sorry to hear of Nora's passing. Nora was a very kind and generous person. Always bringing baked goods into the office for us to enjoy. Nora was an awesome co-worker. She would help anyone with anything. Nora will be greatly missed. Love and prayers to and for her family.
