Asa William Lawson, age 32, of Kansas City, MO died at his home on January 5, 2022. Asa was born in Kansas City, MO on November 8, 1989. Asa grew up in Kansas CIty, MO graduating from North Kansas City High School in 2008.

Asa enjoyed the St. Louis Blues, KC Chiefs, KC Royals and attending concerts. He enjoyed music of all genres, but especially his favorite rock band Kiss. He also loved his parakeets, Epon and Propane. Asa was a frequent winner on 98.9 the Rock's Thirsty Thursday.

Asa was preceded in death by his father, Aaron Lawson and his maternal grandparents, Bob & Hazel Strode. He is survived by his mother Marilyn Strode of Kansas City, KS ; his sister Kendra Wheeler and her husband Matt and their three daughters, Amelia, Ruth and Vivian of Midvale, UT ; sister Kelsey Wheeler and her husband Waylon and their three daughters, Lillain, Scarlette and Bailey of Kansas City, KS ; paternal grandparents Alva and Loretta Lawson and several aunts, uncles and cousins. 

Cremation has been accorded and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
