Victoria “Tori” Lee Rebman, age 54, passed away at her home surrounded by her family, March 25, 2022, in Stilwell, Kansas. Tori was blessed with a career in her passion as a chiropractor and nutritionist. She owned and operated Tallgrass Chiropractic for over 21 years. She signed her first lease one month after graduating from Cleveland Chiropractic College August 2000. Tori was a natural healer. She was truly committed in assisting her patients in achieving optimal health. Her compassion to help others was over the top. She never met a patient she couldn’t help in some way. She was above and beyond committed to her field. Tori was dedicated to her patients and loved investing in them in all aspects of their health. Tori walked the talk of alternative healthcare. Tori’s family had to cancel patients zoom appointments following her death. She was committed to the end.
She was born in Franklin, Nebraska to Harry and Roberta Rebman on May, 28, 1967. Tori comes from a long line of proud Nebraska farmers who settled in the Alma Nebraska area directly from Germany. Tori enjoyed her childhood on the farm. Tori began her caretaking passion with the wild kittens in the barn. Life was rough on the farm and she personally saw to it that these cats had a good chance to survive in the harsh environment as a farm cat. She even took one of the barn kittens off to college with her. She named that cat Garfield who lived to be 21 years old.
Tori always had a career in the healthcare field. At 16 she worked in the nursing home as an aide until her high school graduation in 1986. She followed her brother Mark to Hays, KS and received her BA in Chemistry and Biology at Hays University. She then moved to Topeka to attend Medical Technology School where she began her employment at Stormont-Vail Hospital as a Med Tech in the chemistry department and blood bank.
Shortly after she began her career as a Med Tech she met her soul mate, Kim ( Dorsey) Rebman in September 1994. Together they would dream of sharing a business together. They connected on the level of wanting to help others. This discussion lead them down the path of Tori graduating from Cleveland Chiropractic College and Kim becoming a massage therapist and energy healer. The two graduated the same weekend in August 2000. A month later, they signed their first lease, hung their open sign and began their practice as Rebman Chiropractic. Kim and Tori later changed the name to Tallgrass Chiropractic.
As the practice continued to grow so did their family. Tori gave birth to Morgan Nicole in 2005 and Macaylee Alyn in 2008. It was their greatest achievement.
She loved traveling with her family and making memories with her children and friends. Hawaii and a Disney Cruise was among the most memorable. Her hobbies included hiking, biking and shopping for crystals in Sedona, AZ. Tori was always ready to play video games, or watch Star Wars and Avengers movies, or surprise them with impromptu Nerf gun wars. She would challenge Macaylee in a game of pool, and watch animated shows with Morgan.
Tori is preceded in death by her brother, Mark Rebman. She is survived by her wife of 28 years, Kim Rebman; daughters, Morgan Rebman, Macaylee Rebman; loving extended family and friends, along with her crazy Chihuahuas, Cherry, Tio, and Sandy. She is also survived by her parents, Harry Lee Rebman and Roberta Rebman.
A private family and friends Celebration of Life will be held on April 24th at the family’s home.

Rebman family, It’s been an absolute pleasure to have known Tori. I’ve always thought she was one of a kind and loved people in a way that is hard to find in todays world. She gave her all to everyone no matter how exhausted she was. I’m so glad to have known and to have learned from her, knowledge that would’ve been difficult to find elsewhere. She truly altered the course of the lives of those she knew, including mine, my childrens, and my family’s. She was a blessing in this world. I continue to pray for her and for your family every single day! With all of my love, Marissa Gilmore and family
