Larry Burns passed away on April 26th at 11:03 pm at Lee’s Summit Medical center after a long battle with his physical health and complications with Covid. He is survived by his wife of 35 years Christie Burns, his son Michael Burns and his daughter Katherine Burns. Everyone will remember his warm smile and how even after his death we’re still finding his coin collection in the most unusual places. An avid collector of many things he filled his life with model cars, movies and various other collections. He loved singing and when the skies were gray, everything would always get better when you heard his voice from down the hall.
The funeral services is scheduled for 10:30 am on May 5th at Calvary Assembly of God, 9320 Elm Ave, Kansas City, MO 64138. Pastor Denny Smith will officiate the ceremony. All are welcomed to attend and celebrate Larry’s life. Larry didn’t want any flowers so if you would like to donate, please give to the church in his name.
