April 1, 1938- May 5, 2022

Robert Gordon Mueller (Bob) passed away peacefully on May 5^th, 2022 in Overland Park, KS. 

He was born in Chicago, IL. to Morris and Margaret (Robertson) Mueller. He graduated from Northwestern University and served in the Navy. He worked as a commodities trader and later as a home inspector in his retirement. Bob enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, travel, and woodturning.  Bob was a decades old friend of Bill W. and shared his experience, strength, and hope to help others. 

He was preceded in death by his parents Margaret and Morris Mueller of Saugatuck, MI.  He is survived by his wife, Janice Mueller of Overland Park, KS.  Bob and Jan were married for 62 years.  He is also survived by his sisters Margaret Ramsbottom, Virginia Beach, VA and Marilyn Sundberg, Ingleside, IL, daughter Kristin Easley (William) Olathe, KS, and son Steve Mueller (Mary) of Deep Gap NC.  His grandchildren include William Easley (Megan) of Overland Park, Maddie Easley of Astoria, NY and Gwynne Easley of Norman, OK.  His great-granddaughter, Rosie, daughter of Will and Megan, just celebrated her first birthday. 

Bob was a member of The United Methodist Church of the Resurrection.  A memorial service is planned for May 17^th, 11:00, at the Leawood location, Church of the Resurrection, Wesley Covenant Chapel.
