Dann David Barber, Age: 67

Dann David Barber, beloved husband, and father passed away Saturday, November 5th, 2022, at the Hospice House located in North Kansas City.

 Dann was born on April 8, 1955, to LeRoy and Vivian Barber, at the Navy Hospital in Vallejo, CA. As a child his family moved to Hayward, CA where Dann spent his childhood delivering papers, and bowling. As a teen and young adult Dann continued his passion for bowling and began bowling in local tournaments.

 His job at General Motors, relocated him to the Fairfax plant in Kansas City, KS. Dann met his wife Karen Bradford-Barber, and they had one son Aaron Barber. Dann continued to bowl various leagues throughout Kansas City and bowled in local tournaments as well as national tournaments.

 Dann was preceded in death by both of his parents, LeRoy and Vivian Barber. Danns surviving family consists of his loving wife Karen Barber, and his loving son Aaron Barber, his daughter-in-law Joanne Barber of Kansas City, MO. He also has two sisters, Linda Barber of NC and Brenda Barber of AZ.

 A private family gathering will be held on Saturday November 12th in remembrance of the love Dann showed to his family.

So sorry to hear the news. We bowled together for 3 years in junior bowling. We were very good bowlers and high school buddies. We would do each others paper route when sick or going away. He was a great friend. I'm sad we didn't keep in touch... RIP

I have been thinking of Dan for the past few weeks; he gave me one of his many bowling balls. I just started to return to the sport coaching my daughter. I remember those good times at Grand Lanes. To Dan's family God Bless.
