Trent Renard Deatherage, 52, of Pleasant Hill, MO, passed away peacefully with family by his side, Tuesday, November 8, 2022, at Lee’s Summit Medical Center.
Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 19th at Rock Falls Baptist Church, 10858 Rock Falls Rd., Orrick, MO 64077. Final resting place will be Higginsville City Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.kccremation.com
Trent was born on June 13, 1970, in Windsor, MO to Maurice Dell Deatherage and Beverly Joyce Grigsby. Trent lived most of his life in Richmond, MO where he graduated from high school. He was an Eagle Scout of Troop 324 and a bronze medal recipient. Trent loved spending time with family and friends, attending church, reading his bible, listening to music, outdoor fishing, and sports. He was filled with goodness and loved to talk and make people laugh. He navigated daily health challenges and will be missed by many.
He is survived by step-mother Ruth Deatherage of Concordia; siblings: Tony Deatherage and wife Tammy of Concordia, Tina Behel and husband Jeff of Gainesville, GA, Troy Deatherage of Warrensburg, Tim Grigsby of Palm Coast, FL, Randall Harp and Wife Rosa of Naples, FL; step-siblings: Robbie Grigsby and wife Deb of Higginsville, Alan Deatherage and wife Nancy of Concordia, Patricia Meyer and husband Dennis of Emma, Donna Caton and husband Cliff of Napoleon; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews of whom he loved dearly and remained in touch with until he passed.
He was preceded in death by his parent’s Maurice Dell Deatherage and Beverly Joyce Grigsby, step-father Robert Dean Grigsby, and step-siblings Michael, Scott, and John Deatherage.
