Evelyn Irene (Pierce) Wutke

Evelyn Irene (Pierce) Wutke, of Parkville, Missouri passed away peacefully on November 11, 2022, at the age of 91. 

 

Evelyn was born on February 27, 1931, to Caroline and Oliver Pierce.  She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings; Edwin Arthur, Harry, Caroline “Susie”, Eugene, Roy, Ronald “Doc” and Mildred “Red” as well as husband Lyle Wutke.

 

In 1991, Evelyn retired from TWA where she worked most of her career. In her spare time Evelyn enjoyed crocheting and playing solitaire.  She also enjoyed visits from her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

 

Evelyn is survived by her two children, Cheryl Diane Massie of Cameron, MO and Richard Eugene (Linda) Edwards of Rockaway Beach, MO as well as her three grandchildren, Amanda, Angela and Robert and her five great-grandchildren.

 

The family wishes to give thanks to the staff of The Grand Royale, Galway Homes and Specialized Hospice for their compassionate care of our loved one.

 

Services will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2022 at Terrace Park Funeral Home & Cemetery, 801 NW 108th St., Kansas City, MO, 64155. The Visitation will be at 1:00 pm followed by a service at 2:00 pm.
