Marylin Wheeler of Galmey, MO (formerly of Kansas City) passed away January 12, 2023 at the age of 96.

Marylin was born to Chris and Nora Fricke in Emma, MO on March 10, 1926. Marylin married Chester Wheeler in 1946.

She retired from the Kansas City School District in 1988 as Cafeteria Manager of Southwest High School.

Marylin is preceded in death by her parents, Brother Marcellus Fricke, Sister Louella Henderson, and her husband Chester of 66 years.

She is survived by her children Chris Wheeler and Kathi Langlands and son-in-law Kenny Langlands, four grandchildren, Keith and John Wheeler and Kyle (Sara) Langlands and Amanda Hanson, four great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Granddaughter of Marylin’s brother Marcellus Fricke ,Albuquerque ,New Mexico

Condolences to Marylin’s family and friends. My mom, Debbie Fricke, and I had the pleasure of going to Missouri for Aunt Marylin’s 90th birthday. It was so nice to see everyone. As a child my grandparents took me to Missouri to visit. I have a lot of found memories and stories from my grandpa about Marylin and family.
