Albert Glen Dill
April 5, 1956 - January 11, 2023
 
Albert Glen Dill, the youngest son of Ralph and Freda Dill, was born in Winchester, Kansas on April 5th,1956. His family then moved to Gardner, then to Greensburg, where he attended school, graduating in 1974. He fell in love with and married Jeanne Walters and then moved to Wichita where he worked as a welder, and started their family. Among his numerous and varied interests, he developed into an avid photographer and astronomer, and enjoyed sharing his interests and his love of the cosmos with friends and family. In 2016, he and his wife happily retired to the country in the Flint Hills. Albert passed on January 11th, 2023 at the age of 66, surrounded by family. He will be deeply missed by his wife Jeanne Dill, his son Jeffery Dill and wife Melyssa, his big brother Raymond Dill and wife Barbara, as well as many much-loved family and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents and his sisters Marie Griffin and Ruth Dill.

Jeanne, Jerry and I were saddened to hear of Glen's passing. We have many fond memories of time spent with both of you when you lived in Wichita. You and Jeff and the rest of your family are in our thoughts and prayers. Jerry's brother Wesley died very unexpectedly on January 9th. We join you in your sadness of losing someone so near and dear. Heartfelt condolences to you and Glen's family.❤

I worked with Albert for many years at Chance Rides MFG, and considered him a good friend. Albert was one the most easy going, and down to Earth people I knew. Very sorry to hear of his passing. I hope you are among the stars my friend.
