Donald Wray Farris

Don Farris age 85 passed away on March 19, 2023 at North Kansas City Hospital. Born on October 3, 1937 in Versailles,MO Don was the second of three children of Claude and Bessie Farris.

Don married on September 17, 1965 to Nancy Pride Tilley.  The couple had two children Patrick Farris and Alicia Speed as well as two grandchildren, Alex Speed and Emma Wohletz, and two great grandchildren, Evie and Anakin.

Don was in the USAF and later took a job at Bendix Corp. where he worked for 30 years before retiring. After retiring he enjoyed traveling with his wife, playing golf, watching the Royals, Cardinals, Chiefs, MU Tigers, and spending time with his family, friends and pets.

Don was proceeded in death by his father and mother as well as his two sisters (Sue and Erma).

There will be a memorial service for Don on Tuesday March 28, 2023 at Liberty Christian Church 427 E Kansas St, Liberty, MO starting at 11 AM.
