Marjorie Hubbard passed away with family by her side on April 29th, 2023. Born in Saratoga Springs, New York, to Royal and Mildred Dyer, the third of four children. Known for her speed skating accolades in her youth, Marge later settled in Kansas City, began a family and started a career at Hall’s on the Plaza. A founding member of the ‘Friends of the KC Symphony’, Marge was an integral part of the arts community in the Kansas City area. She is survived by two sons, Lee and Bradley Hubbard, as well as grandchildren Kelly Czirr, Jennifer Pippins, Lee Jr. Hubbard, Stephen Hubbard, Michael Hubbard, and Rachael Cowden, in addition to ten great grandchildren and one on the way! A celebration of life will take place Saturday, May 6th at 2 pm, at the Atriums Senior Living Community in Overland Park. “You gotta work hard to play hard!”.
