Our condolences for your loss. Memories of Gary and Devona on the pickball court will not be the same. Gary expressed as the most competitive player. Their ballroom dancing was smooth and precise and enjoyed by all. He announced proudly and looked forward to his daughters upcoming wedding. May all family and friends cherish each other with love and kindness. Life is brief. May God carry you through the difficult days ahead.

Family from Oak Alley ,North East ,Maryland

Gary was one of the first people I met at the Oak Alley RV Park in Webster Florida. Gary had a great since of humor, and was very competitive pickleball player. We actually spoke about Christ on a number of occasions. I am certain he found his way to the glory land. When I read of his death I was shocked to say the least. In April 2023 Gary and I left Oak Alley on the same day. Gary was the last person I spoked to a him, and I will see you in the fall. To the family, I pray for your peace and comfort. The world lost a special person, and heaven has another angel. Prayers for the family. I can hear Gary singing in Heaven "It is well my soul. Much Love, Wayne Marion

Dearest Devona, so sorry for your tragic loss. I can't imagine the pain you must be feeling. Gary was a great guy and your love for one another was abundant and obvious to those around you. Mutual respect was apparent. I loved to play pickleball with Gary....especially as his partner. So generous and nothing but positive comments. Always encouraging. He had a quiet calm about him that I admired. Please know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. May you find comfort in His arms....as I'm sure that's where Gary dwells❤️

Such a shock to learn of Gary's passing. Friends for decades we had expected a few more decades of active life together. So very sad. It brought our family to tears. He will be missed by all who knew him. His was an exemplary life. Would that we should all stay as close as he did to our Lord. Terry, Barbara, Sarah Lynn and family
