Mary Catherine Mallory, 78, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed peacefully on November 2, 2023 at Menorah Medical Center in Leawood, KS.

Mary was born March 12, 1945 in Kansas City, the fourth of seven children, to John Vincent and Florence Marie (Henkel) McCormick.

She was preceded in death by her parents, infant daughters Christine and Jennifer Mallory, brother Tom McCormick, sister Dee Allen, and nephews Scott Allen and Shawn McCormick.

She is deeply mourned and missed by her husband of 59 years, William H. (Bill) Mallory, Jr., of the home, and sons Jim Mallory (Terri) of Salina, KS, Jeff Mallory (Stephanie) of Overland Park, KS, and daughter Melissa Mallory (Michael) of Kansas City, MO, along with brothers John McCormick (Rita) of Beaverton, OR, Richard McCormick of Kansas City, MO, Tim McCormick of Peculiar, MO, and Michael McCormick of Independence, MO; grandchildren Erica Yates (Eric), Lucas Mallory (Xio), Samantha Mallory, Ethan Mallory, great-grandchildren Caroline Yates, Raylan Yates, Oliver Belshe, and many cherished cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A private celebration of life is planned at a later date.
