She earned a Masters in English Literature and taught English at Kansas City Kansas Community College. In addition, she was an avid reader and loved to travel.  Later in her career path, she took on the challenge of a sales career and sold advertising time at radio station KCMO.  Anne loved the performing arts and introduced her children to performances at the Starlight Theatre and other venues.  She was a community volunteer and a donor to the Nelson Atkins Museum of Art.

  Upon retirement she moved for a time to southern California to be nearer her sisters and the ocean which she loved dearly.

  Anne, for many years, was an active Unitarian Church member and also a longtime Kansas City Chiefs and Royals fan.  She spent a lifetime learning and takes that curiosity with her as she leaves us.
