Dear Haughton family, What a beautifully written obituary. So neat to read about all of Mike's history. Didn't realize all of the Lipton, Wishbone and McCormick backgrounds that he had. We were all touched of his passing. There were many wonderful memories made throughout his life and the long lasting marriage with Doreen. Then with all of his children and later with grandchildren, great grandchildren. He will be greatly missed. Much love and many prayers, Jill and Charles Winters

I’m so sorry to hear of Mike’s passing. I was a buyer and store manager for Macy’s and worked with Mike for 10 years. He was always kind and helpful to me. After the Macy stores were sold there were times I was searching for a new job. Mike always found time to take my calls and offer advice regarding my search. Wonderful man.

Haughton Family, I am so sorry for your loss of such a great family man and a great friend & supporter to us all. I met Mr Haughton initially during my KU college years, when Joe Haughton & I were SigEp fraternity pledge brothers. He helped me get a job at Macy's during college, continued to provide ongoing career advice after college, and in more recent years it was always a blessing to see him at the St Michael's morning weekday masses... I am honored to have known him and cherish the memories of Mr Haughton. God bless all of you! Mike Womack
