Tommy will be missed by so many! I only knew him from Lost Bar. He always seemed so happy and vibrant and willing to help anyone and everyone! There is nothing I can say or do that will help Karel and the family with their grief at this time. Just know that your friends and family love you and are there for you!

Tommy’s incredible integrity as a man, a loyal husband to Karel, (his love for her was rare and as true as I have ever witnessed, as a wonderful loving father and as one of God’s children, a fine ambassador to heaven, will be missed dearly and the world, in all of our hearts who knew him, will never feel as warm as an evening or day spent with Tommy and Karel. I remember Tommy being one of the first person I met from New Mark (I went to Antioch) when we went to Oak Park as freshman. We had first hour PE together. He was so friendly and always smiling. It’s sad to hear of his passing as such a young age. He will be greatly missed as he touched so many people’s lives — more than he may have realized or known.
