Kenneth, Duane Casey of Excelsior Springs, Missouri was born on October 19, 1960 in West Plains Missouri. He was the son of Michael R. Casey and Rita Tyree (Turner).
Kenny departed this life on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at Liberty Hospital in Liberty, Missouri at the age of 63 years.
Kenny grew up in Thayer Missouri, where he played on the Bobcat football team until he graduated in 1978. In 1978 Kenny started working for Consolidated Freightways in Kansas City, Missouri, and went on to be a teamster for 24 years.
Kenneth met his wife, Christina Casey in 1992 and later married on November 9, 2011. Together they raised four sons.
Kenny is survived by his wife, Christina Casey, son, Cody, L Casey (Jessica), of Richmond, Missouri, son, Myles L Casey (Kayleigh) of Excelsior, Springs, Missouri, stepson Cleatis A. Brown of Excelsior, Springs, Missouri, and stepson, Richard J. Brown (Arianna) of Excelsior Springs, Missouri. Kenny had eight grandchildren, Brice, Briana, Payton, of Richmond, Missouri, and Dana, Benjamin, Jaxon, Liam, Brown, and Josie Jane Casey, all of Excelsior, Springs, Missouri. His mother, Rita, Turner, sister, Gina Wagoner (Robin), of Kansas City Missouri, brother, Kevin Casey, Charles Casey, Ty Casey (Misty) of Arkansas, Craig Casey (Michelle) of Kansas City, MO and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins from both Kansas City, Missouri and Mammoth, Springs, Arkansas, and a host of very special friends.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his father Michael R. Casey.
Kenneth was an organ donor saving at least two people’s lives at the end of his journey, making him our hero and his legacy will live on forever.
Kenneth’s celebration of life will be held at the Community Center in Missouri City, Missouri at 309 Main St. on July 13, 2024 from 4 to 6 PM.
