Bobby Dunagan

June 15, 1963 - September 5, 2024

 

To my dearest husband, Bobby. May you find peace in our loving memories.  Bobby was married 31 years to his wife Lynn Marie (Gertz) Dunagan of Buffalo, New York. Bobby was born in Wichita, Kansas to his parents Tom and Norma (McElhiney) of Arkansas. 

 

He is preceded in death by his brother Tommy Lee Dunagan of Kansas City, Missouri sister Betty (Mike) Rosson of Louisburg, Kansas; sister Darlene Dunagan of Kansas City, Kansas and half-sister Dixie McAllister of Bakersfield, California. Bobby worked as environmental services at Shawnee Mission Medical Center for 34 years which is now known as AdventHealth.

 

Bobby enjoyed attending the First Baptist Church of Shawnee, Kansas. He's favorite comment when talking to his family and friends was, “You know me”. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.

I write this note to Lynn, and Bobby's brother and sisters and all his immediate family. So sorry Lynne for your loss and you are in my thoughts and prayers. I sincere condolences. I take this moment to thank you, Lynn for always being informative and loving and I pray the lord surround you, Lynn with His love and support and wish that for Bobby siblings, other family and friends event pet pr pets. as well. Love, Dixie McAlister.....Bobby and I had the same father. I was blessed to meet Bobby and have brief time with him and his wife and siblings. Love and prayers.
