Jacqueline “Jackie” Annette Johnston was born on July 18th, 1980 in Lawrence Kansas to Dell Henry Johnston III (64) and JoAnn Jeanette Johnston. (65) She attended Riverside and St. John’s Elementary, West Jr. High and Lawrence Alternative H.S.

Jackie had a unique blend of boldness and tenderness. She was opinionated and loud when it mattered, never afraid to stand up for what she believed in, yet also gentle and calm when it came to those she loved. Her loyalty to her family, friends, and the animals she cherished was unwavering. Her energy was contagious—whether in a room full of people or during quiet moments with loved ones, Jackie’s presence and laugh could never be ignored. She was a firecracker, full of life, and her spirit will continue to shine brightly in our hearts.

She passed away on Sept. 7th, 2024 at KU Med, in Kansas City, KS at the young age of 44. She is survived by both parents, her younger brothers, Dell Henry Johnston IV (42) and Leo Joseph Johnston (40), and her sons, Hezekiah (12) and Josiah (17).

A memorial service will be held after our time of grieving, where we will all come together to celebrate Jackie’s remarkable life and honor her memory.
