Angela Sue Feldkamp Wilber
January 21, 1961 – September 14, 2024

Angela "Angie" Sue Feldkamp Wilber was born on January 21, 1961, in Independence, Missouri. She attended school in Kansas City and Raytown, graduating from Raytown High School in 1979. As a teenager, she worked at Pouches Café and Fashion Gal.

Angie’s first professional job was at Mercantile Bank and Trust on Noland Road. In later years, she built a successful career at TransAmerica, DST, and SS&C. At SS&C, she worked as a Business Systems Analyst, translating business rules into requirements for health insurance software.

On February 9, 1990, Angie married Mark Wilber. Together, they welcomed their daughter, Danielle Nicole Wilber, who was the light of Angie’s life. Angie’s love for dogs brought several beloved companions into their home over the years, including Jake, Murphy, Bow, Gus, Sadie, Bailey, Carly, and her cherished granddog, Chief.

Angie was preceded in death by her parents, Greg and Shirley Feldkamp, and her brother, Bill Feldkamp. She is survived by her loving husband, Mark; her daughter, Dani; her sister-in-law, Sandi Wilber and her husband Barry Busch; her nieces, Courtney Sanders and Jody Jensen; her cousin, Vicki Eblen, and her husband Tim; and many other family members and dear friends.

A celebration of Angie’s life will be held on Saturday, September 28th, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Clayton Apartments Clubhouse (1407 NW 65th Terrace, Kansas City, MO 64118). In honor of Angie’s love for the color blue, we kindly request that attendees wear a shade of blue instead of black. The family has requested that donations be made to the National Breast Cancer Foundation instead of flowers.

Angie will be remembered for her warm heart, love of family, and deep affection for her dogs. She touched the lives of many and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Angie and I worked together at DST and she was always such a caring and warm hearted person. She had a great laugh and she always brought some good food or deserts on our food days. I loved working with her and she always liked to talk about her husband and daughter and her dogs. She will be missed! My deepest sympathy for your loss.

Angela and I worked at SS&C together for over 15 years. Angela was a good friend, the best listener and gave great advice. We talked almost every day; while working hybrid we went in the office on the same days and sat next to each other. When my mother got sick Angela was very supportive. I will definitely miss my work sister. Keeping you in my warmest thoughts as you navigate this difficult time.

So sorry to hear of Angela’s passing. I always enjoyed working events with Angela over the years, even when we were freezing cold at the Bloody Mary bar which never had the ingredients that were on the menu 😀 Angela was always very nice, prepared and we always had a good laugh at some point during each event.
