Evie Elizabeth Gabbert

     Evie Elizabeth Gabbert, aged 77, of Pleasant Valley, MO passed away on September 27th, 2024 peacefully in her home surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on April 23rd, 1947 in Monroe, LA. She was an avid gardner. She loved spending time with her family. Her grandchildren were a huge source of happiness for her. She loved spending time with them but, especially showing them how to garden. She retired from NKC Hospital after 27 years of service. She was preceded in death by her husband Jack Gabbert. They were married on July 27th 1963 and spent almost 60 years together. She is survived by her three children; Karen Brown and spouse Jeff Brown, Dawn Gabbert and Shannon Gabbert. She has five grandchildren; Adam Inman and spouse Alexa Inman, Morgan Hoatland and spouse Alan Hoatland, Madison Gabbert and significant other Brandon Dawson, Michael Hinrichs and significant other Nicole Francis and Makayla Huxtable. She also has 10 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday October 5th 2024 from 10 am to 11 am with the service to immediately follow at 11 am.

Services will be held at Greater Life Pentecostal Church. 5225 N Brighton Ave, Kansas City, MO 64119

Pallbearers will be: Adam Inman, Alan Hoatland, Lukas Inman, Shannon Gabbert, Jeff Brown and Brandon Dawson
