Deborah Sue Lammers “Debbie”, 74, gained her heavenly wings on October 11, 2024, in Kansas City, MO, after a brief battle with cancer.
She was born in Kansas City, MO on October 7, 1950. She was preceded in death by parents Truman D. Willard and Shirley E. Streit, and sister Norma J. White.
Debbie is survived by her three children Michael Wallace (Karen), David Wallace (Tanisha) and Natalie Hoover (Ryan); four grandchildren Zachary Wallace, Cameron Wallace, Jackson Hoover and Benjamin Hoover; one great-grandchild Rosalind Wallace; and a loving extended family.
Debbie had long standing careers in both the transportation industry and government. She lived her life to the fullest by entertaining her kids and grandkids with music, concerts, sports, movies and amusement parks. Celebrating holidays and birthdays with family were a highlight of her life.
A Memorial service will be held on Friday, November 8, 2024, 6pm at Overland Park Arboretum and Botanical Gardens: Room 115; 9209 W. 179th St. Bucyrus, KS 66013. Per Debbie’s wishes, the service will be informal at a park-like setting. Flowers will not be received by the memorial venue.
