I want you to know how much I enjoyed knowing Carlene. The trips we took together with our families for spring break were so memorable. She was a joy to know!!

Carlene, Gary, Alex, Chloe, There are no words that are enough to describe how much I loved Carlene. She was so special, vibrant, caring, and the best gift giver I’ve ever known. I have earrings and a Dutch oven to prove it, and Jett’s Walt has physically been with us for basically a sold 5 years. He has even been on the boat at the lake. We will honor Carlene during Alex’s wedding, we will spoil Chloe’s daughter with lots of clothes and bows (and I’ll conveniently forget my credit card when I take my dad to the store), and there will never be a time when we are together that we don’t think of her. We love you all! Sincerely, Kaitlin, Garrett, Jett, June, and Walt

Gary and Family, So sorry about your loss. I remember when Gary and Carlene had just gotten married and myself and friends moved them into an apartment. Also remember what a character her dad was. God bless you during your time of loss.

I Carlene was such a delight! I so enjoyed knowing her through Presbyterian Women and especially our time together sorting through mountains of donations at the Village Church Clothes Closet/ Pantry. I was so saddened by her diagnosis and what the whole family had to go through. My condolences to you.
