Ellouise Barbee Dunn born on July 19, 1927 in Salina, Kansas, passed away peacefully on January 3, 2025 at the age of 97. She was surrounded by family who loved and admired her. We will truly miss our matriarch and know she has given so much love to family and friends.

Ellouise is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Ellouise Barbee, and her two brothers Frank and Judd. They were her foundation of love as a young girl and woman. She met Charles H. Dunn on the library steps at the University of Kansas and they were married March 12, 1949. Charlie was the love of her life and both enjoyed a wonderful 63 years together.

Ellouise is survived by her loving daughters, Susan Blanco, Cathy Remley (Gary); Betsy Rudolph (Kevin); and Jennifer Gregg.

Ellouise is “Nannie” to six grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

We are mourning her loss but recognize the strength she exemplified to all.

We love and miss you, sweet “Nannie” and are blessed to be part of your legacy.

The family plans for a private Celebration of Life.
