Linda Ann Graves Clark

Linda Ann Graves Clark, 74, of Leavenworth, Kansas, passed away peacefully on March 1, 2025, at Providence Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas, surrounded by her loving family and friends.

Linda was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Known for her generous and loving heart, she always put others before herself, leaving a lasting impact on the many lives she touched.

Born on October 31, 1950, in Seward, Alaska, to Benjamin and Alice Bellamy, Linda grew up on a homestead in Homer, Alaska, alongside her six siblings. She often shared fond memories of her childhood there, filled with adventure and family.

Linda balanced raising three children with a variety of meaningful careers, including Editor of the Anderson Advocate, librarian, and Site Director at Horizon Kids. She was deeply committed to her community, frequently volunteering her time at her church and other local organizations.

Linda leaves behind her beloved husband, Michael Clark, whom she married in 2005. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Graves, with whom she shared a cherished marriage from 1976 until his passing in 2001. Linda is survived by her brothers Raymond, Donald, and Marvin Bellamy; her sister Judy Bellamy; her daughters Charity Cunningham (Charles) and Virginia Graves; her son Jason Graves (Elena); her grandchildren Nathan, Timmithy, Carissa, Haylee, and Christian; and her great-grandson Elias. She was preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin and Alice Bellamy, and her brothers Benjamin and Kenneth Bellamy.

A woman of deep faith, Linda loved Jesus and never hesitated to lend a hand to those in need. She found immense joy in spending time with her children and grandchildren, creating memories that will be treasured forever.

My thoughts and prayers are with you, Mike, and the rest of the family as you go through this difficult time. The following poem/song was written by a dear friend of ours back in 1986... If You Knew If you knew where I am standing If you could see the sights I see If you could hear the angels singing The songs they sing eternally If you knew the One I'm holding Could see the smile He smiles at me If you knew where I am resting You would not cry for me. I know you're confused, about my leaving you so soon But I'll be with you again, maybe morning, night or noon. So I'll save a place for you, Right beside the Crystal Sea. If you knew where my mansion's standing, You would not cry for me. I'm resting in the precious arms of Jesus No other place would I rather be So if you shed a tear, please don't shed it for me. If you knew where I am resting You would not cry for me. Steve Perry
