Craig Lingholm, of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on March 30, 2025. Craig was born on September 21, 1959, in Joliet, Illinois. However, he and his family lived most of their lives in Missouri. Craig was the beloved husband of Jane Lingholm, with whom he shared 45 wonderful years of marriage.
Craig was a devoted father to Daniel (Jaime) Lingholm, Kristin (Jarrod) Gravatt, and Steven (Kylee) Lingholm. He was the proud grandfather of eight grandchildren: Tyler (Juli) Lingholm, Kori Graves, Autumn Lingholm, Jordan Gravatt, Daniel Lingholm, Indy Lingholm, Atley Lingholm, and Mack Lingholm, and his great-grandchild, TJ Lingholm. Craig is survived by his sisters, Deborah Hollin and Jeanette Lingholm, his brother-in-law, Thomas Ciatteo, as well as his nieces and nephews: Ryan (Melissa) Lingholm, Kayla Long, and Francis Ciatteo.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Barbara (Malsky) Lingholm and John Lingholm, his brother-in-law Bill Ciatteo, and his nephew Jason Hollin.
Craig was a man of deep passions, most notably his love for the outdoors. An avid fisherman, he found peace and joy in the tranquility of nature. He especially enjoyed his time out on the water in his boat. He looked forward to their frequent camping and fishing trips, where he created lifelong memories with cherished wife Jane. After many years of hard work, Craig was able to retire early, allowing him more time to enjoy his favorite pastimes. He also had a deep appreciation for classic cars and trucks, taking great pride in owning and working on them throughout many generations. Craig was known for his loyalty to his family, his kind heart, generous spirit, and sense of humor. Craig will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
A Celebration of Life will be held in Pleasant Hill, Missouri, at 2:00 pm on Saturday, April 26, 2025. Craig’s family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to everyone who has supported them during this time of loss.
"To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted"

To My Lingholm Family, Craig was one of the greatest men I had the honor to know. He treated me like family and never batted an eye at all the wild things Kristin and I would conjure up. He left this world too soon but the legacy he left is incredible. Dan, Kristin, and Steven- your Dad will always live on in your heart ❤️ He’s everywhere if you just look. May his soul rest in peace as he will forever be missed. Sending you all my love and prayers during this difficult time. Love, Amy Girl
