Judith Ann Bennett, Age: 72
Aug 06, 1952 - Apr 28, 2025

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we announce the passing of Judith Ann Bennett on April 28, 2025, at the age of 72.

Known to many simply as “Judi,” she was a cherished member of her community whose boundless compassion and unwavering generosity touched countless lives. Whether through a kind word, a simple gift, or a helping hand, Judi was always there for those in need. Her heart was bigger than anyone could have imagined—always open, always giving, always full of grace.

Judi devoted many years to service at Eagle Creek Church in Lees Summit MO, finding great purpose in her faith and sharing that spirit of love and kindness with everyone around her. Her presence lit up any room, and her legacy of selflessness and devotion will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

She is survived by her beloved son Paul Bennett, his wife Courtney Bennett, and their son Braylen, who brought her immeasurable joy and pride. Her family, friends, and community will carry her memory forward with love and gratitude for the life she shared so freely.

A celebration of Judi’s life will be held at Eagle Creek Church on May 17th at 10:00 am to honor the extraordinary woman she was.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that acts of kindness be done in Judi’s memory—just as she would have done.

I am thinking Judi's passing was probably as selfless as her living, considering the last visit I had with her was spent trying to convince her she had not let people down by not getting the bulletins on the chairs for Easter. :) She had the biggest heart of giving of anyone I knew. I loved Judi and always knew she loved me. A hole has been left that will be hard to fill. I am praying for all of you. She loved you so deeply. May God comfort you with the beautiful memories of that love.

I am beyond a loss for words. Your Mom was a wonderful friend with a heart so big. She never missed a holiday or birthday without sending a card! There are so many things I miss about her! I pray she has found peace. And as she would always say, I hope she’s having a “Delmar day”🪽 Fly high Judi, love you always💗

Neighbor ,Branson ,Missouri

Judi was such a sweet lady to our family. She lived directly across the street. She many times would bring our kids snacks and treats. My family always put up many decorative lights for all the holidays throughout the years. She found joy in it and told us at our home lights up the neighborhood. She would sometimes go buy us additional lights and we still use her lights today. Just a few days before her passing we received on separate days two Easter cards from her. She sent stickers of butterflies in honor of our daughter that we lost two years ago. She sent pictures and has always tried to keep in touch with us over the last two years since we moved to Branson. We will always remember her as a loving neighbor as she brought love to our family. 🙏🏼💐
