Sandra Kaye Gillespie, age 75, of Warrensburg, MO, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 4th, 2025. Born on August 13, 1949, in Kansas City, MO, to Jack and Betty Gillespie, Sandy lived a life full of love, adventure, and dedication to her family and passions.

Sandy leaves behind three beloved children: James Pennington and his wife Brenda, Jennifer Dailey and her husband Derric, and Rachel Selph. She was a proud grandmother to six grandchildren: Treyvon, Alecia, Kimber, Jaxson, Leo, and Kehlani, and cherished her four bonus grandkids: Sydney, Abbey, DeVonte, and Derric Jr. Sandy also had the joy of being a great-grandmother to six great-grandchildren. She is survived by her brother, Gary Zumalt, and her best friend, Donald Funk.

Throughout her life, Sandy had a profound love for dogs and horses, dedicating much of her time to raising and showing them. Her adventurous spirit shone brightly in her younger years when she raced cars, earning the nickname "Corvette Sandy." Above all, Sandy's greatest love was her family, and she will be incredibly missed by all who knew her.

Sandy's legacy of love, strength, and passion will continue to live on through her family and the many lives she touched.
