Kansas City, MO - Irene E. Petroll, 93, was born in Delmenhorst, Germany, April 20,1932 and passed away peacefully May 23, 2025.

As newlyweds, Irene and George immigrated to the United States, settling in Kansas City, MO. Irene loved being a wife and mother and especially enjoyed cooking and baking. Her friends raved about her pastries, cakes and doughnuts. Irene also enjoyed traveling with family and friends.

In 2021, Irene’s husband, George, preceded her in death. Survivors include her four children, Margaret Holt, Shirley Warren (Bob), Ron Petroll (Judy) and Ray, Petroll (Myrna), five grandchildren and five greatgrandchildren.

The family would like to thank ACG Hospice for their kind care through Irene’s journey.

Services will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Children’s Mercy Hospital, Kansas City, MO or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Memphis, TN.
