Allan Dean DeBacker passed away on May 20th, 2025, at the age of 69. He was born on August 8, 1955, in Kansas City, Missouri.
 
Allan was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Stephanie, with whom he shared 47 wonderful years of love, laughter, and friendship. A man of deep faith, he was a dedicated member of the First Baptist Church of Northern Heights, where his presence and service were deeply appreciated.
 
A master craftsman, Allan worked as a Union Sheet Metal Mechanic for 30 years. After retiring, he embraced his passion for the arts. He had a natural talent for drawing and woodworking, spending his time creating, building, and generously sharing his gifts with others.
 
Known for his quick wit, steady presence, and unwavering loyalty to those he loved, Allan was a man of quiet strength, deep integrity, and boundless generosity.
 
He is survived by his loving wife, Stephanie, his two children, Aimee and Joseph, and his six cherished grandchildren: Isabella June, Olivia, Sophia, Gabrielle, Ava, and Briggs.
 
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Shirley DeBacker, his in-laws, Theodore and Mary Jo Allaman, and his father in law, Howard “Mike” Horsman.
 
A Celebration of Life will be held at the First Baptist Church of Northern Heights on May 31st at 1:00 p.m.

Allan has always had a very sweet spirit He was so tender hearted. He loved all his sisters. He loved his family He would do anything for all of us. He had a silly side. That's what made him!! I love you and will miss him till I get to meet him again
