Edgar Newton Dunlap, Jr, 71, of Kingsville, MO, passed away June 25, 2025, after succumbing to a battle with cancer. 

Edgar was born in Kansas City, MO, to Edgar Dunlap, Sr, and Ida Dunlap. For most of his life, he lived in Missouri. He worked as a truck driver for most of his career. At one point in his life, he also kept bees and enjoyed the hobby of jarring honey. In addition to this, he also enjoyed creating unique items from treasures he found at auctions. Some of his favorite pastimes were attending auctions, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren. 

He is predeceased by his parents. He is survived by his 3 sons: Ed Dunlap, Clifton (Becca) Dunlap, and Shelby (Danielle) Dunlap. He leaves behind seven grandchildren: Lyndon (Ed’s daughter), Anthony, CJ, and Jacob (Clifton’s sons), and Kayden and Gracie (Shelby’s son and daughter). Four sisters: Verla (Gene) Mconnell, Sheryl Alley, Rhonda Dunlap, Denise (Rusty)Thompson, Three brothers: Terry, Jack (Eva), David (Kristi) Dunlap. 

A celebration of life gathering will take place July 26th, 2025 at 10:30AM at the city hall of Holden, Missouri in the Hallar building.
