Jane Francis (Yates) Clements, affectionately known as Mom, Mimi, Jane, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away suddenly on July 26, 2025. She was 77 years old. Jane was proceed in death by her parents; Bill and Pannie Yates.Jane was the beating heart of her big, beautiful family: a devoted wife to her beloved husband, Larry Clements a loving mother to her sons Don (Donny) and David, a cherished mother-in-law, a doting grandmother, a delighted great-grandmother, a dear sister to Julie Yates and Randall Yates, a treasured aunt, and a faithful friend to many. Her love was never half-measured. She showed up faithfully for everyone in her life, offering boundless compassion, wisdom, and a quiet strength that carried generations.Her deep and abiding faith was the cornerstone of Jane's life. She was deeply rooted in her church community, where she found immense joy, purpose, and fellowship. Jane was far more than just a member; she was a steady presence, a dedicated prayer warrior, and a true woman of service. She gave generously of her time, her heart, and her spirit. Whether it was a comforting casserole during times of grief, a timely card arriving just when needed, or a heartfelt hug in the church lobby that whispered "you're not alone," Jane ministered to others in the truest and most profound sense of the word.ane loved God deeply, and she loved people fiercely and unconditionally. Her legacy is one of unwavering faith, selfless love, and a quiet grace that touched and changed countless lives, perhaps more than she ever realized. Her family and friends will miss her voice, her laughter, and her nurturing presence more than words can express. Yet, more than anything, they will strive to carry her light forward – because that is the enduring gift she gave to all who knew her.Jane was a graduate of Higginsville High School class of "66"and an ORnurse at St. Mary's for over 40 years.Jane's family finds deep comfort in the words shared upon her passing: "We will miss her... but more than anything, we will carry her light forward. Because that’s what she did for us." She was, simply and profoundly, Mom. She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and her light will continue to shine in the hearts of all who knew her.In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to City Union Mission of Kansas City continuing her legacy of faith and service.Her service will be held on Saturday, August 9th at 11:00 am at Grace Baptist Church850 MO-150, Lee's Summit, MO 64082.

As a member of class of 66, we made a LOT of fun memories. We could always expect Jane to have us laughing and a little reminder that she cared deeply for each of us. Jane loved her Jesus and witnessed wherever she went. Her family was very important to her. We will miss her!!!
