Susan Householter Winters, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend passed away peacefully on August 25, 2025, at the age of 69. Born on April 2, 1956, Susan lived a life full of love, grace, and joy, leaving a lasting impact on all who were fortunate enough to know her.  

Susan was a proud graduate of the University of Mississippi, where she was an active member of the Delta Gamma sorority. Forever loyal to her alma mater, she was a lifelong fan of the Ole Miss Rebels, and her love of football extended to her enthusiastic support of the Kansas City Chiefs.  

Her family was the true center of her world. She is survived by her children, Grant Winters and his wife Laura, and Caroline Cox and her husband Steven. She was the adoring grandmother of five grandsons, Reece, Phifer, Wells, Brooks and Townes, who brought her immense pride and joy.  

Susan, will also be remembered by a wide circle of extended family, sisters in Delta Gamma, and lifelong friends who cherished her warmth, humor and generosity. Her love, encouragement, and unwavering spirit enriched the lives of many, and she will be profoundly missed.

A celebration of Susan's life will be held at a later date, where friends and loved ones will gather to honor her memory, share stories, and celebrate the enduring legacy of a woman who gave so much of herself to oth
