Joyce Ann Schiller, 79, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away peacefully at home on September 5, 2025. She was born to the late Charles M. Hart and Alice I. (Larison) Hart on August 8, 1946 in Kansas City, Missouri. She was married to the late Larry R. Schiller for 36 wonderful years.

Joyce graduated high from Southwest High School in 1964. She worked for many years at Dearborn Midwest. She was a lifelong Kansas City resident.  Joyce was a loving caretaker of her family. She lived her life for the ones she loved.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents: Charles and Alice Hart; husband Larry Schiller; daughter Lori Schiller Warthen; and brother Jerry Hart. She is survived by her sister Wanda Hart Dixon, brother David and Brenda Hart, her grandsons; Joshua and Ashley Schiller, Bradley and Kinzee Warthen, and Tyler Warthen, her great grandchildren; Haley Schiller, Colton Schiller, Penelope Warthen, Daphne Warthen, and Caiden Parker, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifelong friends.

Joyce will be interred at Leavenworth National Cemetery with her husband at 11:00 am on Friday September 19, 2025..  Family and friends are invited to celebrate Joyce’s life at the graveside service.
