Shondel Glennis Thieverge, 62, passed away peacefully on December 2, 2025.

 
 
Born on May 9,1963, in Portland, Maine, Shondel dedicated her life to service. She spent 33 years helping veterans through the Department of Veterans Affairs, retiring after a long and compassionate career.
 
 
Shondel enjoyed a life full of creativity, adventure, and warmth. She loved traveling, crocheting, sewing, playing poker, and fishing on the lake. She was also an outstanding Scentsy consultant who took great pride in her work. Though she was known for being a little rough around the edges, she had a heart of pure gold. She cherished time spent with her Simply Sisters, who brought her so much joy.
 
 
She is survived by her mother, Judith; her sister, Tonja; her brother, Tiger; her 3 wonderful children, Phillip Jr., Terisa, and Krystine; and her beloved grandchildren, Nadine, Phillip III, and Elena. She is also survived by her mother- and father-in-law, Kay and Bill. Her loving and devoted husband of 22 years, Frank “Travis” Thieverge. Travis loved and cherished Shondel until she took her last breath. She will forever be in his heart.
 
 
She was preceded in death by her father, Edward; stepfather, Jimmy; her father-in-law, Frank; and her brother-in-law, Matthew.
 
 
Shondel will be remembered for her strength, her honesty, her loyalty, and the deep love she held for her family and friends. Her presence will be profoundly missed.

Shondel my BFF was near and dear to my heart. We shared many great times together. Cruises, camping, playing cards, bingo or just hanging out. Praying for peace for Travis, Krystine, Terisa and Phillip. Miss here everyday.
